He received his BS in biology from Michigan Tech University. He then graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1981. Dr. Davenport completed his Family Practice residency in his home town of Saginaw in 1984. After practicing for five years in Fremont Michigan, he settled in Traverse City where he has been practicing with Partners in Family Practice since 1990. Dr Davenport has had the privilege of being involved as a physician for the US Olympic Committee starting in 1987, culminating as a team physician for the Summer Olympics in 1992. He enjoys alpine and Nordic skiing during the winter and kayaking and road biking during the summer. He then graduated from Xavier University School of Medicine, Aruba and completed Family Medicine residency at Munson Medical Center in 2015. Dr. Lindstrom is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Lindstrom enjoys all scopes of Family Medicine, especially Sports Medicine, and is very involved in the local community, promoting health through involvement with sports teams and mass event coverage. Areas of involvement have included National Ski Patrol, Traverse City West High School Hockey, IceMan Cometh MTB race, Traverse City Ironman, Break-a-Wave Open Water Swim, the NHL prospect tournament, and Detroit Red Wing Training Camps. When not providing medical coverage, you might see him around the VASA on skis or a mountain bike, cycling Leelanau Peninsula, playing hockey, or surfing Lake Michigan.
